SASSA Grant-In-Aid is a social grant given to current recipients of SASSA social grants who require full-time care outside of their homes due to their incapacity to do so on their own. With the grant, they can hire someone to provide full-time care.

Grant-in-aid is only available to holders of disability grants, old age grants, and war veteran grants. The Grant-In-Aid application can be submitted simultaneously with the main grant application. Their well-being is improved by providing them with an allowance of R510 per month.
